Anchor Points
Anchor points are (museum) locations that are usually open to the public in sufficient numbers and have a historical relationship with industrial developments, such as the Oyfo Industriemuseum in Hengelo, the Baksteen en Dakpanmuseum De Panoven in Zevenaar, or the TextilWerk in Bocholt. Anchor Points are also railroad museums and museum railways, where attention is drawn to the relationship between industrial production, infrastructure and transport, such as the Museum Buurspoorweg Haaksbergen-Boekelo and the Westfälisches Feldbahnmuseum in Lengerich. A third category of Anchor Points are the historical museums that reflect on historical industrial developments. These include De Museumfabriek in Enschede, the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem, the Stadsmuseum in Doetinchem, the Aalten Museums, kult-Münsterland in Vreden or the Stadtmuseum in Nordhorn.
