BRASSERIE FLORIS

(Former Lochem Station)

Lochem Station is located on the railroad line Zutphen - Glanerbeek (today Glanerbrug, on the border with the German city of Gronau). In the station there is a restaurant called Brasserie Floris. Before the transition to a restaurant, there was the dance bar "Station Lochem".

The station was built from 1863 under the architecture of K.H. van Brederode and opened on November 1, 1865. During a renovation in 1879, the right wing was doubled and in 1902 another wing was added on both sides of the building. The building belongs to the standard type of State Railroad 4th Class.
